Aaron David Miller: podcast appearances and interviews

Aaron David Miller is an American Middle East analyst, author, and negotiator who is currently a senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, where he focuses on U.S. foreign policy. He has previously served as vice president for new initiatives at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and has acted as an advisor to both Republican and Democratic secretaries of state. Miller has also worked as a Global Affairs Analyst for CNN. His career at the United States Department of State spanned 24 years, from 1978 to 2003, during which he served as an advisor to six secretaries of state on Arab-Israeli negotiations. During this period, he participated in American efforts to broker agreements involving Israel, Jordan, Syria, and the Palestinians. After leaving the State Department in 2003, he served as president of Seeds of Peace, an international youth organization. In 2006, Miller joined the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C., initially as a public policy scholar before becoming vice president for new initiatives. He is also an author, having published his fifth book in 2014 titled The End of Greatness: Why America Can’t Have (and Doesn’t Want) Another Great President.
