Topical Fit
Topical Fit measures how well a guest's expertise topics align with a podcast's content focus, audience interests, and recent episode themes. It is a component of Booking Probability.
How it works
Topical Fit compares the guest's expertise tags and pitching-as description against the podcast's category, subcategory, topics array, and recent episode titles. The score ranges from 0 to 100, where 100 means near-perfect alignment. Poor topical fit suppresses Booking Probability regardless of other factors.
Example
A venture capitalist with expertise tags in 'early-stage investing, B2B SaaS, founder psychology' would have high topical fit with a show focused on startup fundraising. The same profile would have low topical fit with a health and wellness podcast.
