Host Outreach

Host outreach refers to the process of contacting podcast hosts to request a guest appearance. It encompasses the entire workflow from identifying target shows to sending pitches, following up, and negotiating the booking.

How it works

Effective host outreach follows a systematic workflow: identify shows with high topical fit and booking probability, research recent episodes to enable personalized pitches, generate or write customized pitches, send from your own inbox to maintain authenticity, follow up once after 5 to 7 days if no response, and track all outreach in a pipeline.

Example

A startup founder running host outreach through PitchCentric might identify 50 technology and entrepreneurship shows with Pod Scores above 50, generate personalized pitches for each, send them through their connected Gmail account, and receive 8 responses resulting in 5 confirmed bookings.
