Zero Hour, also known as This is Zero Hour, is a youth-led nonprofit organization founded in 2017. It focuses on climate justice and environmental activism, empowering young people to combat climate change through grassroots organizing, training, and campaigns. The organization was established by four high school students who sought to amplify youth voices in the climate conversation and address the inaction of politicians on climate issues. Zero Hour aims for a sustainable future by promoting collective action against fossil fuel expansion and advocating for environmental justice. It offers various programs, including the Take Action Hub, which serves as a resource for grassroots involvement, and the Zero Hour 101 Training, a free virtual program for U.S. youth that covers essential activism topics. The organization also organizes mass youth-led events, such as the Youth Climate March, and provides internship opportunities in areas related to climate justice.
