The Conversational English Language Program for Young Rural Girls (CELP) is an initiative by Rural Development Initiatives (RDI) in collaboration with ICYV. This program aims to empower young rural girls by equipping them with essential English language skills and communication competencies. CELP focuses on addressing educational and economic disparities faced by young girls in rural communities. It offers comprehensive conversational English language training, enhancing participants' confidence and communication abilities. The program has been operational for over two years and has successfully graduated 100 young girls, helping them gain vital skills that improve their educational prospects and academic performance. Through this initiative, CELP contributes to bridging the digital and educational divide in rural areas.
