Tröegs Brewing Company, also known as Tröegs Independent Brewing, is a family-owned craft brewery founded in 1996 by brothers John and Chris Trogner. Located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, the brewery specializes in a variety of specialty, seasonal, and experimental beers, emphasizing freshness through limited distribution. Tröegs began operations in Harrisburg and has since grown to produce around 101,000 beer barrels annually, employing approximately 250 people. The brewery is known for its diverse range of beers, including popular year-round offerings like Perpetual IPA, Tröegenator, and Mad Elf. Tröegs also features a Scratch Series, which includes hundreds of small-batch experimental beers available directly from the brewery.
