What does Supertee do?

Supertee is an Australian children's charity founded in 2018 that designs and distributes free medical garments resembling superhero costumes for sick children in hospitals. The organization aims to provide comfort and imaginative play during treatment, transforming the hospital experience for kids facing serious illnesses. Supertee operates across Australia and internationally, partnering with over 92 hospitals and supported by more than 150 volunteers, having assisted over 25,000 children to date. The flagship product is a t-shirt-style medical garment featuring snap closures for easy access to medical lines, designed to uplift children's spirits. Supertee also plans to introduce new products to enhance functionality and user experience, developed in collaboration with Torrens University students. The charity collaborates with various partners, including Disney/Marvel, to create themed editions and relies on donations from individuals and organizations to sustain its operations. Supertee's mission extends beyond clothing, aiming to support children and families in pediatric wards and promote funding for medical research.
