What does OutFront Minnesota do?

OutFront Minnesota is the largest LGBTQ+ advocacy organization in Minnesota, established in 1987. It focuses on supporting queer and trans individuals facing violence and discrimination. The organization aims to empower Minnesota’s 2SLGBTQIA+ communities through intersectional organizing, advocacy, education, and direct support services. With over 35 years of impact, OutFront Minnesota works to create a safe environment where LGBTQ+ people can live freely. The organization operates three main departments: the Anti-Violence Program, which provides support and resources for victims; the Policy & Organizing Department, which advocates for legal protections and community education; and the Educational Equity and Training department, which fosters inclusive school environments. OutFront Minnesota engages with over 50,000 activists statewide and collaborates with numerous partners to drive policy reform and community support.
