What does Magamba Network do?

Magamba Network is a leading non-profit creative organization in Zimbabwe, dedicated to empowering youth through arts, digital media, activism, and human rights. Founded in 2007 during a time of political and economic challenges, it has become a significant force in promoting participatory democracy, social justice, and free expression. Based in Greater Avenues, Harare, the organization has expanded its influence across Southern Africa, reaching millions of young people. The organization is known for several key initiatives, including the Shoko Festival, Zimbabwe's largest urban culture festival, and Moto Republik, the first creative hub in the region. It also produces Zambezi News, the country's first satire show, and The Week, a political news program. Other projects include Open Parly, which focuses on citizen journalism, and various digital media initiatives like The FeedZW and Kalabash Media.
