Houston Exponential (HX) is a nonprofit organization established in 2016 through a partnership between the City of Houston and the Greater Houston Partnership. Its mission is to accelerate the innovation economy in Greater Houston by creating a strong ecosystem for founders, funders, incubators, accelerators, and high-growth startups. HX aims to position the region as a leading global innovation hub by connecting various stakeholders, including innovators and investors, to foster collaboration and support for high-impact companies, particularly in technology sectors. HX offers a variety of services for different stakeholders. For founders and startups, it provides a digital community with resources for training, networking, and funding, along with job boards and ecosystem-wide events like the HTR2025 innovation event. For corporate partners, HX offers innovation consultations and marketing partnerships. The organization also manages closed funds focused on early-stage technology investments, contributing to the growth of Houston's vibrant entrepreneurial landscape. Led by CEO Natara Branch, HX plays a vital role in promoting Houston as a center for global innovation.
