The Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society recognizes outstanding engineering students who display distinguished scholarship and exemplary character. It is the only honor society representing the entire engineering profession. The Colorado Beta chapter was founded in 1905. To qualify for membership, students must be in the top 1/8th of the junior engineering class or the top 1/5th of the senior engineering class.
