The City of Buena Park is a charter city located in northwest Orange County, California. It operates under a Council-Manager form of government and has approximately 400 employees. The city was incorporated on January 27, 1953, and covers an area of 10.3 square miles, serving a diverse population of about 83,000 residents. Buena Park is known as the “Center of the Southland” due to its central location and access to major freeways.
