Beyond Decadence delivers powerful, story-driven talks and experiences that bring caregiving out of the shadows and into the workplace conversation. Grounded in Chef Maria Kemp's lived experience as a French-trained pastry chef turned working caregiver multiple times over, this work helps organizations normalize caregiving as a workforce reality without overwhelming HR, Inclusion & Belonging (I&B), Wellness, or Benefits teams. Chef Maria partners with corporations, ERGs, and event planners to design programs that are human, strategic, and memorable. Drawing on dessert-inspired teaching tools, she translates complex caregiving challenges into stories and experiences people remember long after the session ends. Dessert is never the point. It is the lens that makes invisible realities visible, relatable, and actionable. This is not a feel-good keynote. It is a culture catalyst. Beyond Decadence sessions combine data, lived experience, and workplace relevance to spark honest dialogue and practical insight. Leaders gain a clearer understanding of how caregiving shows up in burnout, disengagement, absenteeism, and turnover, and how to respond in ways that strengthen Inclusion & Belonging while supporting performance. The result is deeper trust, stronger ERG engagement, and workplaces where employees feel seen, valued, and more likely to stay. Beyond Decadence exists to move organizations beyond awareness into action, making the invisible workforce impossible to ignore.
