We’re exploring the commons of Waltham Forest: community gardens, East London. From fairy dens to parasitic wasps to 50 person outdoor feasts and streets filled with sunflowers. We want to know: what's so special about community gardens? Why do people think growing food can change the world? Who feels welcome in these spaces? What's a seed bomb? We will be travelling to record the stories of magical green spaces and the growers that tend them. In each 30 minute episode we will visit a different grower in a different community garden, and hear their stories of how they found this common ground and what keeps them coming back.
