I started my podcast as a way to create a safe space for women and girls specifically women of color to talk amongst each other. As someone who is a Nigerian American teen in America I wanted to create a space where women can talk about issues that affect us in life as women/girls and raising awareness and education to things that you might come across at some point in your life. This is a crazy world that is just getting crazier, and navigating through as a women at times may seem hard or even scary. Educating women and girls is something that is important to me, and raising awareness to issues specific to women that you might not see talked about on main stream. personally in my opinion, nowadays when we do talk about women in main stream, media, a lot of our issues, and just very being as simplified and water down but being a woman or a girl is a lot more complex.
