To be a Christian is to be a student. The word “disciple” means “student”, and before he ascended to Heaven, Jesus’s final command to his students was that they should go into all the world and teach, making more students (Matthew 28:19-20). As Christians in the modern world, our calling is still to be students of Jesus and to help each other in fellowship as we learn about Him and from Him. We are to be Students of the Word, studying the Bible, the written word of God, as we walk as the disciples of Jesus, the living Word. My name is Corey Olsen, and I am hosting a Bible study open to anyone who would like to join me as a Student of the Word. Would you like to join me for a patient, thoughtful, and prayerful study of the Bible together, reading whole books verse by verse?

All about the sin towards death - and the not-deathwards sin!

We've been building up to the Great Reveal: what God's testimony that we've heard so much about really says about Jesus!

We're back for session 100 of "Students of the Word," continuing our verse by verse exploration of the first epistle of John. This in-depth bible study is nearing its completion, as we approach the end of this profound b

How the Spirit is the primary witness testifying to Jesus as the Christ and Son of God, because the breath is truth - and how God's declaration makes it so.

How Jesus Christ — the one in whom believers trust to overcome the world — came not merely through water alone, but through both water and blood, with the Spirit bearing truthful witness to this full coming as Son and Me

John's incredibly precise description of who exactly is doing all this vanquishing, and in what sense is our faith the victory?
