Rising Like Incense is a 7-part podcast series focused on the role of aesthetics and beauty in liturgical reform. Our podcast series focuses on Vatican II, an ecumenical council that took place from 1962-1965, publishing sixteen documents that addressed the role of the Church in the modern world, the liturgy, and many other topics. In this series, we focus on Sacrosanctum Concilium and explore how the bishops of the Catholic Church saw, understood, and used beauty to promote goals they viewed as important to one of the most significant reforms to liturgy.
