About this podcast

Do you feel stuck in the “too many books, not enough time” cliche? Wanting to read more, but struggling to find time to actually sit down and read when no one is on top of you? Have you ever felt overwhelmed by book choices and stressed over what to read next? You’re tired of starting a book only to close it because it doesn’t align with your values, leaving you feeling like you wasted time and money. Welcome to Clean Christian Books, where we build a reading life that feels happy, relaxing, and aligned with your values again. I’ll help you find time to read, choose clean books you can trust before you start, and enjoy stories that feel like a true escape without guilt. This is a space for thoughtful reading, shared recommendations, and books that stay with you. Hey, I’m Kassidy. I’m a wife, a mom, a lifelong reader, and my faith matters deeply to me. After kids, I tried to keep reading the way I always had, and it just wasn’t working anymore. I was wasting time on the wrong books, feeling overwhelmed by choices, and constantly guessing if a story would align with my values. I finally realized that if I was going to enjoy reading again, it couldn’t feel rushed or stressful. I simplified how I read and focused on clean books I could trust from the start. Now reading feels relaxing and life-giving. And I’m excited to help you build that kind of reading life, too. If you’re ready to stop guessing, choose clean books you can trust, and build a reading life that feels happy, relaxing, and worth your time, you’re in the right place. Inside the podcast and our book club community, we read for escape, slow down with stories, and talk about books that actually stay with us. You’ll find trusted recommendations, simple ways to find time to read, and stories that are entertaining with purpose. Grab your cozy blanket and a warm drink; this is where reading gets fun again.
