About this podcast

Animal Apologists is hosted by two sisters, Kayleigh and Peyton, as they tell stories of their animal-involved lives to help educate the public on the reality of animal welfare. Kayleigh, a shelter dog photographer and euthanasia technician, has worked in the law enforcement side of animal welfare for almost five years. Peyton, also a shelter dog photographer and shelter employee, has formed special bonds with many dogs that helped them get to their forever home. Both of them grew up in animal welfare & bring very different perspectives and opinions to the table.
