About this podcast

We're like your elected officials, but teenagers. And you don't elect us. So we're not really elected officials. By listening to A.T.E., you'll get an inside look into the Dallas Youth Commission , a group of 15 teens that works with the City of Dallas to improve the lives of all teens in the city. In this podcast, we address a range of topics, from the struggles of higher education to current events that are crucial for teens to know about. If it affects teens in some way, we cover it! We feel that it is crucial for teens in Dallas, as well as teens everywhere, to be informed about the issues they face. It is more harmful than helpful to be sheltered from tough or "controversial" topics, and the A.T.E. hosts help break those barriers by bringing teen voices into "difficult" conversations.
