Frank Bruni: podcast appearances and interviews

Frank Anthony Bruni, born on October 31, 1964, is an American journalist who has written for The New York Times since 1995. His career at the newspaper has included diverse assignments such as serving as chief restaurant critic. In June 2011, he was designated an op-ed columnist. In addition to his journalism career, Bruni joined Duke University in June 2021 as a Professor of the Practice of Journalism and Public Policy at the Sanford School of Public Policy. He continues to write a newsletter for The New York Times and contributes opinion pieces to the newspaper. In November 2024, Bruni received the North Carolina Award, the state's highest civilian honor, from Governor Roy Cooper. Bruni is also an author of five books. His works include The Age of Grievance, which explores political dysfunction and pervasive discontent in contemporary America; The Beauty of Dusk, which recounts his medical journey concerning his declining eyesight; Born Round, a memoir detailing his family's love of food and his personal struggles with overeating; Where You Go Is Not Who You’ll Be, about the pressures of college admissions; and Ambling Into History, which discusses the presidency of George W. Bush.
