What does Trail Life USA do?

Trail Life USA is a faith-based organization focused on the mentorship and development of young men in the United States. Founded in 2013 in Belton, South Carolina, it serves as an alternative to traditional youth programs, emphasizing character development, leadership, and outdoor adventure. The organization operates as a registered nonprofit and adheres to a Trinitarian Christian "Statement of Faith." With over 800 troops across all 50 states and a membership estimated between 30,000 to 60,000 young men, Trail Life USA offers a comprehensive K–12 program. This program includes outdoor activities like hiking and camping, character-building lessons, and leadership training. The organization encourages strong father-son relationships and actively involves fathers in their sons' development. Adult volunteers, both men and women, are welcomed to serve as mentors and leaders within the troops.
