James Fishback: podcast appearances and interviews

James Thomas Fishback, born on January 1, 1995, is an American political activist and businessman. He is the co-founder and chief investment officer of Azoria, an investment management firm. Fishback also launched an ETF through Azoria before it was shut down by the company's independent trustees over legal concerns. His career includes working for hedge fund Greenlight Capital from 2021 until his resignation in 2023. Fishback has been active in politics, including a campaign launched in November 2025 for the Republican nomination for Florida governor. He has also made attempts to associate himself with President Donald Trump, falsely claiming to have been an advisor at the Department of Government Efficiency and launching an unsuccessful campaign for a Federal Reserve Board of Governors position. Fishback's public profile has been marked by involvement in legal disputes. In 2022, the Broward County School District severed ties with him and a debate league he ran amid allegations of grooming a 16-year-old girl; Fishback denied the allegations and threatened to sue the accusers, later moving in with and becoming briefly engaged to her after she turned 18. In 2023, he engaged in a dispute with Greenlight Capital over his job title and later admitted to illicitly sharing and using confidential information from the firm.
