What does Wellness House do?

Wellness House is a nonprofit organization focused on providing comprehensive cancer wellness support to individuals and families affected by cancer. Founded in 1990 by three local women, including two cancer survivors, it serves the Chicago metropolitan area and beyond as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. The mission of Wellness House is to enhance the lives of those diagnosed with cancer through holistic support that complements medical treatment. The organization offers over 525 classes and programs, including support groups for various stages of cancer, exercise and nutrition classes, stress management techniques, educational seminars, and family programs. All services are provided at no cost to participants, funded through donations and grants. Wellness House operates multiple locations and also provides online and on-demand programs to ensure accessibility for everyone affected by cancer, including patients, survivors, caregivers, and family members.
