Watches and Wonders Geneva Foundation (WWGF) is a non-profit organization established in September 2022 by Rolex, Richemont, and Patek Philippe, with Chanel, Hermès, and LVMH joining in 2024. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, WWGF focuses on promoting the global watchmaking industry through prestigious events. It serves as the successor to Baselworld and the former SIHH, evolving into a platform that emphasizes storytelling, press exposure, and direct engagement with collectors. The foundation's flagship event, Watches and Wonders Geneva, is the world's largest watch trade show, held annually in Geneva. It features 60-66 prestigious brands, attracting record attendance, including 49,000 visitors in April 2024. The event showcases new models and technologies, offering immersive experiences for journalists, retail buyers, and the public. WWGF also organizes complementary programs, such as city-wide cultural events and youth activities, to enhance the overall experience and promote the craftsmanship and innovation in watchmaking.
