Texas Venture Alliance
About
The Texas Venture Alliance (TVA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the startup ecosystem across Texas. Founded by C.S. Freeland, TVA is the largest statewide venture network and plays a key role in advocating for startups and investors at the Texas State Capitol. The organization is recognized in Texas Governor Greg Abbott's economic development plan, "Bigger. Better. Texas." TVA provides a range of services and initiatives, including the Texas Venture Fest, which celebrates the startup community across multiple cities, and the Texas Crystal Boot Awards, presented at the Texas Venture Gala. They also offer newsletters, regional venture pages, networking events, and workshops to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing. TVA partners with over 70 venture-focused organizations annually and launched the Texas Scale-Up Coalition in 2024 to promote innovation among startups and venture capitalists. The organization actively supports legislative efforts that foster private sector innovation and address the venture capital gap in Texas.
