Shiro Games is an independent video game development studio located in Bordeaux, France. Founded in 2012 by Sebastien Vidal and Nicolas Cannasse, the studio has expanded from a small team of four to a robust group of 70 professionals. Shiro Games focuses on creating engaging games that reflect the interests of its founders. The studio has developed a variety of games across different genres, including the *Evoland* series, *Northgard*, *Darksburg*, *Wartales*, and *Dune: Spice Wars*. Notably, *Northgard* achieved significant success with 2.5 million sales, while *Dune: Spice Wars* won the DICE Award for Best Strategy Game in 2024. In addition to game development, Shiro Games launched Shiro Unlimited in 2023, a publishing label aimed at supporting smaller development teams by preserving their creative vision and enhancing project quality.
