Pegasus Media Project (PMP) is a non-profit organization based in Dallas, Texas, dedicated to promoting cultural diversity and storytelling in film and media arts. Founded in 2012 by Niloo Jalilvand and established as a non-profit in 2021, PMP focuses on empowering diverse communities through education and career pathways in the media arts. PMP offers several key programs, including the Portable Film Program for Youth, which provides film education to under-resourced schools, and the Pegasus Film Festival, the largest youth-run film festival in the U.S. The Multimedia Apprenticeship Program prepares participants for careers in media arts with extensive classroom instruction and fieldwork, all offered at no cost.
