What does Maternal Mental Health NOW do?

Maternal Mental Health NOW's mission is to remove barriers to the prevention, identification and treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders in Los Angeles County. We offer training and capacity building to health care and social service providers, helping them identify and respond to perinatal depression and anxiety in a timely, informed and culurally appropriate way. We connect LA County's birthing people to community resources for perinatal mental health on mmhn.streetywze.com. We also reduce stigma associated with perinatal mental health challenges by sharing our stories.
