The Green Beret Foundation (GBF) is a nonprofit organization based in San Antonio, Texas, established in 2010 to support U.S. Army Special Forces, also known as Green Berets, along with their families. Founded by Aaron Anderson, a former wounded Green Beret, GBF provides emergency and ongoing resources to address health, wellness, transition, and family needs. The foundation has assisted over 13,000 Green Berets and their families, investing more than $15 million into its programs. GBF offers a range of support services, including casualty support for injured soldiers, health and wellness resources, family support for spouses and children, assistance for Gold Star families, and transition support for those moving to civilian life. The organization emphasizes the importance of these elite soldiers and aims to connect them with the necessary resources to thrive after their service.
