America Makes is a leading public-private partnership focused on additive manufacturing (AM) technology, education, and workforce development. Founded in 2012 as the Department of Defense’s first National Manufacturing Innovation Institute, it is headquartered in Youngstown, Ohio, and managed by the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining.
